Cendrillon is four act opera by Jules Massenet that's based on Charles Perrault's 1698 version of the Cinderella fairy tale. Premiering at the Théâtre National de l'Opéra-Comique in Paris in 1899, the opera has since gone on to receive numerous international revivals.
