Combining the carefree, sunny pop of 1970s disco with modern electro, Rich Aucoin creates hip and vibrant party music. The Halifax, Canada-native debuted in 2007 with the Personal Publication EP, which was well-received in Canadian electropop circles. Aucoin claims that over 500 Canadian musicians lent a hand on the album and that he recorded it at various spots all over the country. If that's indeed true, it'd certainly fall in line with the festive, dance party free-for-all spirit of the recordings. For his live show, Aucoin expands to a lively full-band format with live drums, synths, guitar and group vocals.
