I am a massive Cream fan and when I went to see Sons of Cream at a packed 100 Club on a Monday recently I knew we must have them for The Haven Club. Who better to carry the music of Cream forward than the sons, I can tell you, talent runs in families!
Cream were undeniably the first rock "supergroup" of the 1960s. Although they were together for less than 3 years, Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker and Eric Clapton left a gigantic impression on the world of rock music forever.
Ginger Baker's son Kofi, along with Jack Bruce's son Malcolm, team up with guitarist Rob Johnson to pay humble tribute to the world's greatest power trio.
