Since the early 1990s during the summer in Reims, the Flâneries musicales de Reims has turned the months if June and July into a paradise for musicians and music lovers. The festival takes place throughout the city, using its world-renowned architecture as a backdrop for performances ranging from baroque to highly experimental jazz. On any day there are about two or three free concerts, and many classical and opera performances in the evening for those who wish to pay the price. Given the amount of variety offered by the Flâneries musicales de Reims, its no wonder that nearly 13,000 people attend it annually.
