Dutch pop singer Nielson, an alias for Niels Littooij, became well-known for appearing in the television show De Beste Singer-Songwriter. Although he didn't win, he finished the show with a hit single in the form of "Beauty en de Brains." Before breaking through, however, Nielson studied rap at the renowned Herman Brood Academy. When he graduated in 2012, Nielson developed a passion for singing and writing pop songs, all within the limits of his very own positive and energetic style. After the success of his debut single, in 2014 he cleverly called in help from Miss Montreal and Bløf, with whom he respectively released the songs "Hoe" and "Mannenharten." His album Zo Van Ah Yeah was released in 2014.
