UT-San Antonio Roadrunners Vs. North Texas Mean Green
The Roadrunners represent the University of Texas at San Antonio's intercollegiate athletic teams. Often referred to as simply UTSA, the school competes in the Conference USA of the NCAA Division I. Men's sports include baseball, basketball, football, and tennis while women's sports include soccer, track & field, volleyball, basketball and softball. The UTSA Roadrunners share a heated rivalry with the Texas State Bobcats. The two teams compete in an ongoing series known as the I-35 Orange vs. Maroon Rivalry, which originally described the Roadrunners v. Bobcats men's basketball game but now includes all common sports between the two schools. A point system is used to calculate the score throughout the school year and at the end of all athletics seasons, the winner is awarded the much coveted I-35 trophy.
