The San Clemente Ocean Festival happens every July, attracting thousands of visitors each time. Held at San Clemente Pier, activities include Ocean Art Show, Woodie Car Show, Open Short Board Competitions, Fishing Derby, and Sand Sculpture; children have tons of games to choose from. Free parking and shuttle service is provided. The proceeds of the festival go towards lifeguard and aquatic programs, the Ocean Institute for local school programs, Meals on Wheels, and scholarships.
