David Berkeley is an American singer-songwriter who grew up on the small island of Corsica. He graduated from Harvard University's school of philosophy, and used his prose writing skills as a street-busker to woo his wife. Making sure every word has meaning is of great importance to Berkeley; who views himself as a singer first and guitarist second. His 2011 release Some Kind Of Cure was funded solely by fan donations and features 13 self-reflective songs based upon detailed narratives. David Berkeley has a gentle tenor voice that is supported by various acoustic instruments such as mandolins, horns, strings, and bass.
