Hard-Fi is a term used to describe the sound produced by reggae legend Lee "Scratch" Perry. Though the English post-punk revival band Hard-Fi doesn't sound anything like Scratch, the band members are nonetheless admirers of his music and thought that naming their band in his honor would be fitting. Comprised of four Brits who are aficionados of pop punk and post hardcore, Hard-Fi is a big draw in England despite being virtually unknown in the U.S.
