Jesse Rutherford is a singer/songwriter from Newbury Park, California who might best be known for fronting the alternative rock band The Neighbourhood. Though Rutherford began releasing solo material in 2011, when he formed The Neighborhood the band would take up all his musical output. However, feeling the need to distinguish himself as an unaccompanied artist, Rutherford would go on to release his debut solo album in 2017.
