Hannah Epperson is a Salt Lake City, UT native and Vancouver-based violinist who crafts a distinctive orchestral folk sound. She quickly submerged herself into Vancouver's rich community of independent musicians upon relocating to Canada in 2002, but it wasn't until after she graduated from the University of British Columbia that she honed in on her own style. Using looping pedals and melancholic vocals, she has risen to the national staged with a blend of experimental pop and neo-folk, despite having released only a single, home-recorded EP, Home Batch, a five-song effort that she self-released in 2011.
