Situated in western Germany, Paderborn is home to over 150,580 inhabitants. Owing to the bombings during World War II, this city was reduced to ashes. Some of the historic buildings that remained are the Paderborn Cathedral and University of Paderborn. Post the war, the city revolutionized and is home to many technological giants.
