Paderborn's Marktkirche is a beautiful structure with a Baroque-style facade in white. Located in the core of Paderborn, the church is known for its spectacular golden altar. Made in Baroque style, the altar was destroyed during the Second World War. However, after several widespread efforts, the church underwent renovations and the altar was restored to its former glory. Echoing with gospels and hymns during Sunday service, the church is frequented by locals and tourists alike.
