Initially formed as a township in 1868, Montclair is a picturesque community that is perched on the cliffs of the Watchung Mountains. A wealthy township, Montclair is known for its beautiful panoramic views and a pleasant atmosphere. Over the years, it has also grown to become a thriving art and culture hub and is home to a number of theaters, studios, and art institutions. The Montclair Art Museum features a variety of Native American and contemporary art exhibits. Another attraction is Presby Iris Gardens, a beautiful garden of blossoming flowers.
