Dunbar is nestled in West Virginia's Kanawha County. This thriving city was once a small farming community that flourished as an industrial hub after its incorporation in 1921. It is best known for the Dutch Hollow Wine Cellars, which find a mention on the National Register of Historic Places. When in town, the historic wine cellar is a must-visit destination. Dunbar was also known for its glass industry and Dunbar Glass. Dotted with chain hotels, inns, and local shops and restaurants, the city makes for an interesting getaway to explore the quaint side of West Virginia.
