Auberge de Jeunesse is a hostel that lies on a green bank of the River Alzette, a five minute walk from the heart of the city. It is well situated for day and night-time excursions. Accommodation for 280 is spread out in rooms of 2, 4, 6, 12 and 20 beds. Food is served at breakfast, lunch and dinner, vegetarian menus are available upon request. A conference room is available and there are indoor and outdoor areas for relaxation and activities; garden with barbecue, bicycle parking, streetball and table tennis. The pleasant, lively atmosphere is discovered once check-in formalities are cleared. In season, when busy, occasionally free board is offered for those willing to help out in the kitchen.
