One of the last locally owned bookstores of its kind, the Bookworm is thriving with the assistance of a caring, knowledgeable staff, a homey atmosphere, an outstanding reputation and a dedicated circle of regulars. Open since 1964, the Bookworm offers a huge children's book section, a frequent buyer program, book club discounts and free gift wrapping. They also hold occasional live book readings and author signing events.
