San Diego Zoo Safari Park

Animal lovers of all types will want to visit this beautifully designed park and refuge for endangered species, including a renowned display of extremely rare California Condors. Over 30 miles( 48.2 kilometers) north of downtown San Diego, you'll get transported to the wilds of Africa, Asia, and Australia. At the park, more than 3500 animals representing over 400 species roam in habitats designed to simulate their natural environs. Ride the Africa Tram tour or walk the trails that weave through the park spread over 1800 acres (728.4 hectares).
