TOURIST ATTRACTIONS & SIGHTSEEING, ENTERTAINMENT VENUES
Trädgårdsföreningen (the Garden Society) is located in the center of Gothenburg and was founded in 1842. The park features a rose garden, a palm house, a butterfly house and some lovely old architecture. The palm house has an exotic climate and tropical plants. It was constructed in 1878 as a replica of London's Crystal Palace. In the butterfly house, you can enjoy numerous species of butterflies flying around freely in their own habitat. If you get hungry the park has a few cafes and restaurants. The park also hosts special events such as theater, concerts and special gardening days.
