A work of sheer genius, Casa da Música stands proud in the the city of Oporto. This concert hall was designed by Rem Koolhaus. It has two main auditoriums rented out for musical performances, workshops and educational activities. The bigger music hall has a capacity of 1,300, while the smaller one can hold 300 seated or 650 standing. Upon entry, a stairway made of aluminum leads guests to the auditoriums. Massive glass windows, huge open spaces and dominantly white environs lend the building a spectacular look.
