Located about 300km away from Lisbon, Algarve Stadium stands as one of Portugal's crowning architectural achievements, built in 2004 for the European Football (Soccer) Championship. The stadium can easily seat more than 30,000 and feed them with its 20+ food and beverage stands. It hosts large-scale events and is home to Faro's Sporting Clube Farense, the best soccer team in southern Portugal.
