Praia da Rocha is a spectacular beach situated in the picturesque town of Portimão in Portugal. It is one of the most beautiful beaches of Algarve, and is known for its sweeping panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. It is flanked by ochre cliffs, and rocky outcrops can be spotted throughout its vast expanse. It is one of the most popular recreational hubs for the residents of Portimão and the area is rife with lively bars, cafes and restaurants. Besides soaking in some sun and swimming in the azure waters of the Atlantic, the beach also has facilities for watersports like jet skiing and is host to the Mundialito, an international beach soccer festival.
