Set on a barrier isle where the river meets the ocean, Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park is a peninsular park along the Gulf of Mexico. Interspersed by mangroves with a white sugary sand beach and tidal creeks, this pristine beauty is considered to be among the top beaches in the United States. Countless seashells gleam from its powdery beach, making it a popular haunt for beachcombers. Bird watching, fishing, kayaking, hiking and snorkeling are some of the activities that are encouraged at this park.
