Alma de Cuba

Alma de Cuba is perhaps one of the most unique bar and restaurants you will ever come across. That's because this trendy Latin-American watering hole is set in what was once St Peter's Catholic Church. A lot of the original design of the church still stands, like the remains of the altar, Lady's chapel and religious paintings. The active calendar of events features everything from live gigs to launch parties throughout the year. Despite the dated setting, the space is often used for contemporary events and is host to a number of shows that can best be described as glamorous. Drinking and dining at a church takes a little bit of getting used to, but Alma de Cuba remains a superb venue for a fun night in town.
