Illinois State Fairgrounds

Illinois State Fairgrounds has been witness to some momentous events in the city of Springfield. Primarily meant as an exposition center for farmers markets, livestock shows and the Illinois State and county fairs, the Fairgrounds are a multi-purpose facility that are well-equipped to accommodate a variety of events. Spanning 360 acres, the grounds have a number of exhibition buildings—both covered and uncovered. Besides that, the excellent dirt race track and other modern amenities here make this venue suitable for everything from horse racing and live music events to rodeos and trade shows.
