Established in 1994, MUSA or Museo de las Artes, is part of the Universidad de Guadalajara. The museum showcases an extensive collection of fine art and contemporary art attributed to artists such as Alejandro Colunga, José Guadalupe Zuno, Javier Campos Cabello, and Luis Valsoto to name a few. In addition to its temporary and permanent exhibitions, the museum also functions as a cultural center, offering seminars, conferences, and workshops. The collections of the museum feature both well-known international artists as well as local artists.
