Magasinet used to be a garment factory before it became a cultural center in 1986. Although the building has shed it's skin since then, today the 400-seat theater continues to be a popular venue for the Odense art lovers. Spread over 1000 sq meters, Magasinet can host all cultural events, be it drama, plays, dances, concerts or even lectures. The place is suitably located in the city center and has good sound, light and audio-visual facilities. Renowned Danish band the Hitchcocks have performed here in the past.
