Inaugurated in 1921, Victory Theatre was built to serve as a venue for vaudeville performances. It is currently owned and managed by the VenuWorks of Evansville and used to serve as a movie theater and nightclub. It is presently available for dance and music performances, theater and orchestra and serves as the home for the famous Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra and several other artists and art groups. It was registered under the National Register of Historic Places and can accommodate up to 1,900 spectators for a single event.
