One of the largest event venues in the city, the Overland Park Convention Center spans across 26 acres (10.52 hectares). The center comprises an exhibition hall that spreads over 5,600 square meters (60,000 square foot) and the Edwin C. Eilert ballroom that has an area of 2,300 square meters (25,000 square feet). Apart from this, there are several meeting spaces and meeting rooms with modern amenities. The Overland Park Convention Center was established in 2002 and since then it has been hosting major events like the Missouri District Youth Convention, Johnson County Boat Show, and KC Bridal Spectacular, among several others.
