Built in 1931, the Paramount Arts Center was one of the first theaters in the country to exclusively show "talking pictures", or movies with sound. The theater had gone through several renovations before closing 40 years later. Currently one of Ashland's premier venues for theater performances, the Paramount Arts Center is an ideal place to catch a show in classic art deco style.
