Previously known as Comedy Theatre, this little venue is teetering on the edge of the West End and stands just off the south side of Leicester Square. This theater acquired its name by paying tribute to one of the most influential British dramatist, Harold Pinter. It established The New Watergate Club 1956, which brought about a change in censorship. The plays that couldn't be performed due to language or subject matter, were being allowed to showcase at this theater under club conditions. Influential comedy and drama make up the company's repertoire.
