The Casco Antiguo, Cordoba’s historic quarter, is known as the largest old quarter in Spain. This area includes the Judería, the old Jewish quarter. It is made up of a vast network of narrow lanes, and is a more atmospheric rather than commercial zone. Not only does the architecture of the various monuments and buildings in this area reflect the influence of Roman, Arab and Christian period, but the quarter has also been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
