Surrounded by a Medieval Castle, amidst the city's suburbs, the Burgtheater is an open air theater which can seat about 1800 people in an auditorium style. This classic semi circle structure has played host to numerous operas, concerts, theatricals as well as musicals. Well known for hosting cultural events of the city, the Burgtheater is famous in town for playing host to the Fantastival and the DIN-Tage.
