Built in 1897, Konzerthaus boasts a spectacular design that blends together Renaissance, Baroque and Classical architectural elements. The elegant theater hosts guest performances by several prestigious, regional theater groups and orchestral concerts. At the center of Konzerthaus lies a lavishly decorated main hall with a distinct Baroque design. What many do not know is that the theater is also home to an impressive collection of historic stage sets of immense value. As the city's largest theater and one of the region's oldest, Konzerthaus continues to entertain and delight audiences with its marvelous cultural programs.
