Kings Playhouse is no conventional theater. This theater features acts by singers, comedians and presents plays and musicals. It even hosts the Georgetown weekly farmers' market and the annual Georgetown Christmas tree lighting! Its long history ensures that Kings Playhouse is more of a local gathering spot than a traditional playhouse; when it was built in 1987, the building acted as both the town hall and theater.
