Originally known as Northampton and settled in 1677 by Walter Reeves, present-day Mount Holly is a pretty township located in New Jersey's Burlington County. During the 1950's, employment reached an all time high due to the closure of mills and factories but as time passed, the economy picked itself and now is healthy as ever, with tourism playing a major role. Some notable points of interest include court house complexes, the Burlington County Prison and old public houses.
