Jeunesse Arena

Located to the west of central Rio de Janeiro in the wealthy, modern suburb of Barra da Tijuca, the HSBC Arena plays host to major bands and solo artists from across the world and across the musical spectrum. British singers and Amy Winehouse have both appeared here, as have the American teen star Miley Cyrus and British pop-punkers McFly. This is not the spot for small, intimate performances, but if you want to catch a full on show from a big name Brazilian or international act, you would be wise to check out the listings for HSBC Arena. Be aware though, that tickets for big shows tend to sell out quickly despite some very high prices.
