Georgia Southern University is home to a variety of facilities that are intended to serve for the all round welfare of the student community. The Hanner Fieldhouse is one such facility that has been created to look after the athletic and recreational aspect of student life. A part of the multi-purpose Hanner Complex, this arena is used primarily for basketball matches, and is the home venue for the university's Eagles basketball team.
