TOURIST ATTRACTIONS & SIGHTSEEING, PRACTICAL INFORMATION
One of two county seats of Carroll County, Eureka Springs is a charming city that finds a place on the National Register of Historic Places. Planned on the lines of a quaint Victorian village, Eureka Springs primarily thrives on tourism. Nestled against the backdrop of the Ozarks, the city is home to rustic Victorian villas and cottages, quirky local shops, art galleries, cozy cabins, and eclectic cafes and restaurants. While the Blue Spring Heritage Center features a natural spring and blooming gardens, the Quigley's Castle serves as a unique treat with its unusual structure and a beautiful perennial garden. Other attractions in town include the wonderful Thorncrown Chapel, Onyx Cave, and Christ of the Ozarks.
