Located within the same complex as the Old Palace, Schlosskirche Bayreuth was built in the 18th Century. The church structure is dominated by the Bayreuth Rococo architecture. The interiors of the church are quite impressive, defined by a pink painted ceiling adorned with intricate stuccoes. Gilded towers flank the central nave which is characterized by a beautiful altar surmounted by a Mondsichelmadonna. Another noteworthy feature is the remarkable tower attached to the church.
