War Memorial Park

Coventry’s favorite public park was opened in 1921 in the memory of thousands of Coventrian soldiers who died in the First World War. Today, it has become a major attraction of the city attracting lakhs of visitors every year. The park features landscaped gardens, football pitches, tennis courts, mini golf course, skating paths and play areas. Highlight of the park is the war memorial monument built with a room called the Chamber of Silence where visitors can pay homage to the soldiers.
