The Rising Sun Arts Centre is an iconic culture center in the town of Reading. The imposing brick building, which was built in the year 1877, now hosts a number of interesting and innovative events and concerts. Avant garde music concerts, participatory shows and workshops, film-screenings and theater shows are organized at this venue on a regular basis. Run completely by volunteers, the Rising Sun Arts Centre has become a prominent center of the cultural landscape of Reading.
