Dreading Slam, Open Mic Poetry Competition returns to the Rising Sun Arts Centre (RG1 2ST) at 7:30PM (Doors 7:15) on Sunday July 2nd. Free entry to Watch or read. Dreading Slam is a friendly, open mic poetry competition hosted by The Legend that is Richard Stephenson. The winner gets the opportunity to compete in the Grand Slam in January 2025 to be crowned the Dreading Grand Slam Champion for a year. Join the audience or take part an evening of live poetry entertainment. Also, the chance to read noncompetitively any poem (yours or any favourite up to 3 minutes in length)
