If you are into thoroughbred horse racing, then a visit to Del Mar Thoroughbred Club is a must. Wowing fans since 1937, it is the place where Hollywood celebs, the rich and the famous and commoners come to watch gorgeous stallions race through the track with competent jockeys leading them. The electrifying atmosphere is palpable during the racing season and is not to be missed. Enjoy people watching as well, where you can catch the latest horse racing fashion adorned by most of the crowd. Considered to be among the largest of its kind in the region, its stucco grandstand overlooking the Pacific Ocean is unrivaled in the nation. The venue also hosts concerts regularly and is open only to those who 18 years and above.
