IG Field

Inaugurated in 2013 with an action-packed, pre-season showdown between the Toronto Argonauts and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, the Investors Group Field is one of Canada's most popular destinations for live football. The stadium's 33,500 seats are partially sheltered by two soaring canopies that rise 200 feet above the ground, arching majestically over a lively audience dressed in team colors. The field itself features a sunken bowl design, with 240 HD monitors to supplement the two massive video score boards on either side of the field to ensure optimum views. Fans can stock up on gameday merchandise at the souvenir shop and replenish their reserves at the restaurant. There's also ample space to accommodate private events and a Hall of Fame that honors local football legends. Home ground of not only the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, but also the University of Manitoba Bisons and the Winnipeg Rifles, sporting action is par course at the Investors Group Field. Concerts and other major events are also hosted here.
