Rathaus Osnabrück is one of the most striking buildings in the city. Dating back to the 15th Century, the town hall has spectacular late-Gothic architecture and a striking facade. The historic hall is known for being the venue for signing of the Treaty of Westphalia after the Thirty Years' War came to an end. This Gothic style hall has several sculptures and statues of prominent historic personalities including Charlemagne, Ludwig the Bavarian, Rudolf of Habsburg, and Arnulf of Carinthia among others. The hall's treasury is known for housing a slew of historic coins, stamps, and other significant documents.
