Raby Castle was first built in the 12th century and was the residence of the Nevill family. Most of its current structure was re-built in the 14th century and is surrounded by 80 hectares (200 acres) of a picturesque landscape, encompassing a deer park. Admire the well-preserved Medieval towers and turrets, one of the finest of its kind in the North East region, and explore the insides for vintage decor, Victorian furniture and artwork dating back to the 1600s. The sprawling woodlands and tearooms are a great place to unwind during your visit.
