Schloss Neuhardenberg

Though it is difficult to determine when the Schloß Neuhardenberg was built, it isn't difficult to admire its beauty. This spectacular castle is one of the major attractions in the city. The castle has changed many owners over the century but its grandeur has remained unchanged. In 1792, a castle park was laid out by Johann Wilhelm Meil. A monument dedicated to Friedrich II was erected at the park. Today, the castle is open to public and is known to be the venue for many events such as concerts, exhibitions, seminars, lectures, and conferences. A part of the castle has been converted into a hotel.
