Sandwiched between the Indian River on the west and the Altantic Ocean on the east, Satellite Beach is a sleepy coastal city in Florida. It's geographical location warrants a unique climate that is a result of the overlapping temperate and tropic zones. Known for a large population of endangered green sea turtles and loggerhead turtles, the city is home to many rare animal and bird species such as West Indian manatees, hyacinth macaw and right whales.
