The town of Tequila in Jalisco also called Pueblo Mágico is a World Heritage Site. As the name suggests, the town is famous for giving the world the famous spirit Tequila. Made from the blue agave plant available only in this region, the drink was discovered and distilled by the Spanish. The top destinations amongst the tourists are the fields of blue agave plant and the Church of Santiago Apostol. The town also has train facilities and guided tours for those who want to visit the distilleries producing Tequila.
